Speed Tower Building in Discovery Time

On Friday we had Discovery Time. We had a super speed tower building challenge. Some towers were big and some where small and some toppled over. The lego one toppled over the most. We had eight minutes to build a tower and we worked in groups.

Making Vegetable Soup

In Room One our green reading group read a story called 'The best soup in town'. They thought it would be great if we could make soup so we did. We grated our vegetables and Mrs Steedman brought her crockpot to school so we could smell it cooking in the classroom. Some of us thought the soup tasted delicious, some thought it was yuk (maybe that was because it was vegetable soup).
